Every woman deserves the opportunity to realise what's possible
We believe women are often far more capable than the systems around them allow them to see.
Many women spend years navigating complex life circumstances that can leave little opportunity to recognise their strengths or imagine a different future.
WEI exists because we believe every woman deserves access to opportunities that help her realise what is possible.
Working across justice and community settings, we partner with organisations to design, deliver, test, and strengthen opportunities that reflect women's experiences, aspirations, and potential.
How we can help
WEI helps organisations create better opportunities for women.
Whether you're developing a new project, strengthening an existing service, or exploring a new area of work, we combine direct delivery, lived experience, practical learning, and innovation to help create opportunities that women genuinely engage with.
Strengthening pathways
Working alongside organisations to strengthen pathways, improve services, and create better opportunities for women.
Understanding womens experiences
Helping organisations better understand the women they support through lived experience engagement, consultation, co-design, and insight.
Testing new approaches
Designing and delivering pilot projects that explore new ideas, test different approaches, and generate practical learning.
Creating opportunities for women
Designing and delivering programmes and workshops that help women build confidence, recognise their strengths, explore opportunities, and take positive steps forward.

Current project
Strengthening self-employment pathways for women
WEI is currently leading a funded systems change project exploring how self-employment can become a more recognised and accessible opportunity for women navigating the criminal justice system.
