Creating opportunities with women, not for women

WEI was founded on a simple belief.

Women are often far more capable than the systems around them allow them to see.

Many women spend years navigating complex life circumstances, often without the opportunity to recognise their strengths, discover new possibilities, or imagine a different future.

We believe every woman deserves access to opportunities that reflect who she is, what she wants, and what she is capable of achieving.

Our vision

We want to see a future where every woman has access to opportunities that help her recognise her strengths, realise her potential, and shape the future she wants.

We also want to see organisations better equipped to create opportunities that women genuinely engage with because they have been shaped by women's experiences, aspirations, and voices.

Our approach

At WEI, we believe the best opportunities are created with women, not simply for women.

Everything we do starts by listening.

We work directly alongside women to understand their experiences, recognise their strengths, and explore what helps them move forward. We then use that learning to help organisations design, deliver, test, and strengthen opportunities that are relevant, practical, and built around women's lives.

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, we work collaboratively with every organisation to understand their goals, their setting, and the women they support.

What we believe

We believe every woman deserves the opportunity to realise what's possible.

We believe women should have access to a range of opportunities that reflect their strengths, aspirations, and circumstances.

We believe women with lived experience should help shape the services designed to support them.

We believe meaningful change happens when organisations are willing to listen, learn, and test new approaches.

Most importantly, we believe better opportunities lead to better futures.

Our experience

WEI brings together lived experience, professional expertise, and years of practical delivery.

Our founder understands that many women face barriers which can limit confidence, opportunities, and belief in what is possible. That understanding is shaped by both personal experience and years spent working alongside women across justice and community settings.

WEI also builds on more than three years of award-winning programme design and delivery, working alongside prisons, women's centres, charities, and partner organisations to create opportunities that help women move forward.

That experience has shown us that meaningful change doesn't come from assumptions. It comes from listening to women, working alongside organisations, testing new approaches, and learning what genuinely works.

This combination of lived experience and practical expertise shapes everything we do.
